Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MentorVoice ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

MentorVoice provides AI-powered spoken English coaching for technical professionals. The Service includes voice conversation practice, grammar and pronunciation feedback, vocabulary coaching and session history.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use MentorVoice. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must verify your email address to access practice sessions.
• You may not share your account with others.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent subscription limits or access controls
• Reverse-engineer, scrape or abuse the API
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive or violates third-party rights
• Use the Service to generate content that impersonates real people for deceptive purposes

5. Subscriptions and billing

MentorVoice offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; you retain access until the end of the paid period.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown inclusive of any applicable taxes.

7. Intellectual property

MentorVoice and its content (branding, UI, AI models, question banks) are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you create (your transcripts, recordings). You grant us a licence to process your content solely to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that:

• The AI coaching will be error-free or meet every specific learning objective
• The Service will be available without interruption
• Completing practice sessions guarantees success in real interviews or professional situations

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MentorVoice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Serbia, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
